Over the WoW Years

This is a little montage of screen captures I've taken over the year that I've played WoW. Some of the characters no longer exist, my Death Knight is featured in some of them. Some of the pictures were taken when we thought something was funny, if you don't get it that's because they're inside jokes me and my friends found funny. I am going to upload some more recent ones as well.

A Little Change Of Plans

Happy Boxing Day to my Canadian friends! (I have to apologize, I don't know if they have Boxing Day in other places)

As the title of this post states, I think I'm going to change up my plans a little bit.

I said that the next video I made will be Shapeshift, well there is a little problem with that.

1) I will have to have some of my druid friends online for me to film...but Exxy the Sexy isn't going to be home for a little bit. Which leads into point 2) I said that my plan is to have at least 2 of my own machinima's done and on Youtube before Christmas break was over. Having said that, I wouldn't have time to get Shapeshift done in time.

So I guess I will be letting the people of the internet down :(

Ha! Psyche! :P I have a backup plan...Plan B as I like to call it, and it is called Disconnecting.
It is a parody to the song Toxic by Britney Spears. I mentioned before that I had an idea for this song but nothing written. Well today I started writing, it's not done yet but it is going swimmingly. I have a few tricks up my sleeve for this song and video which is all I'm going to say about it, I don't want to give away too much. However I think that some people who think that Britney Spears is "girly" music will be a taken for a loop ;)

Happy Wntersvale! :)

Merry Christmas and Happy Wintersvale! :) Today my realm was filled with people in Orgimmar, getting presents and whatnot. I am now Cyphale the Merrymaker :D I found out that you do not need the BB King or the crashin thrashin' achievements for the title, so I was surprised when I went to open my presents and I had got the meta achievement.

Onto a video update, Shapeshift is fully written and recorded...as I mentioned here last time. But I have to wait for Exxy the Sexy to get home and play her druid :P So until I can recruit all my fellow druids...the video will have to wait. Nonetheless it will get done. I originally wanted it done before Christmas, so it could be like a Christmas present post kinda thing. But that is ok :P



I hope you all are enjoying your holiday festivities, I know I am...So this was just a little update on things. I'ma go back to mine now

PS...here is a little look at Wintersvale on my server. I know it probably is the same on every realm, but I thought I'd be sentimental and take a video :P. Also its not too busy because I took this at about 8 a.m. (realm time).

Shapeshift

I'm back again! :D After my first video one would think that I'd take a break right?

Wrong.

I have more ideas than ever...and I am going to elaborate on some of them.

(As a side note, I have been taking my time a little bit with my first video because I've been trying to level my pally, which finally yesterday dinged 80! Gratz to me! :D :P So now I intend to focus a little more on my videos. )

The title of this, "Shapeshift" is the name of the newest song that I have written and finished recording yesterday. It's about druids, which means I will need to recruit some. Exxy! That means you! :P I'm not going to give away too much about this one, I want it to be a surprise. I can say that from my last one I have learned a thing or two about making machinima and using programs etc...For Achievement, I used mostly Sony Vegas which before this I never used. I come to find out that I could do a better job with the types of videos I do in Movie Maker, which is what I will be doing for this next video. I know it is like the very first step into making any type of movie...the program itself is quite linear...but I think I can manage ;)

The second song I have an idea for is a parody of Britney Spears' Toxic. I have some ideas for it, but nothing is written yet. So it is likely that the next video I have will be Shapeshift

Anyways, it is early here...I'm on my Christmas break...I shouldn't be up this early lol I think I'm going to go sleep some more :P

Achievement Is Done! :D

Remember yesterday I said that the next time I wrote here I would have a video to link? Well I do! Achievement is done, my first parody. Everything was done by me...and it was no easy process. Learning the tricks of editing in various programs, writing a parody that is funny and has relevance to WoW, singing it (I don't consider myself a singer :P ) But all in all it was fun. It turned out well, for my first self made parody I think it went well. But I guess I'll see when I get comments. Whether or not people like it will determine if I make another one or not

I must thank a few people, as I mentioned in the credits. I have to thank Ewykuyi... (my boyfriend, Ily hun <3 ) for introducing me to WoW and "showing me the ropes" of the game, I know it must have been annoying to remind me to put spells on my hotbar :P. Also Thank you for bearing with me while I was making the video and not actually playing the game. And most importantly for forcing me to make my Death Knight, because without him I probably wouldn't have a level 80 :P

I also have to thank Excaliburia or Exxy. Thanks for putting up with me not actually playing the game for a few days. Also, B you and your cat form dancing kinda was the inspiration for the druid song :P

Lastly I would like to thank Oxhorn, Nyhm, Summergale, Cranius and Gigi...and all the other machinimation related people. Basically these 5 inspired me to try this for myself :P You all are good at what you do, keep it up! :D

Yeah so anyways...enough of the sappy stuff :P I hope this video gets good reviews for the most part, I know everyone can't like it...but I hope its a majority :)

Achievement

Well, I'm back again and I'm finished up all the Wintersvale achievements, except the ones you can only do after the 25th. Also, I'm officially off school now for 2 weeks :D So maybe I'll finally get time to finish up my parody >.< The song is all done, it's called "Achievement" and it should be fairly obvious what it is about :P

The only thing I have left to do is the video for it, and that's where I'm stuck a bit. I have good programs for making the videos (the ones that the "Greats" of machinima use) like After Effects and Sony Vegas but being so used to Movie Maker...these have left me a bit confused. I just jumped in and started putting together a video, and a word of advice to all...Never get a fancy program and start your first project in it as you will run into some problems. For adding effects and whatnot I'm basically looking up what they do as I add them to the video which is very time consuming. However it is fun, I just hope the video turns out somewhat well.

I have one other song written and recorded, 1 full song written and 1 in the process. As you can see I'm busy :P I just can't stick to writing and making one thing at a time. When inspiration hits...its best to just go with it. So hopefully the next time I write here there will be a link to my next video :D

Wintersvale and my first entry :)

Hm, well I don't know what to put here really...I've never done one of these before. It is the first day of Wintersvale, which is my favourite WoW holiday now that I think about it. I'm trying to get my "Merrymaker" title. Which makes finishing my first parody even harder because I want all these achievements but with that and school during the day I barley get no time. But I will get it done somehow :P. Also, this is my first poor attempt at machinima
