Sorry that I haven't updated this in awhile, but it was true that I came back to WoW after not playing for about a year. It was nice to be back, grind and farm for more pets, mounts, items etc. that I didn't have. And I also tried out Pandaria and I loved it. The landscapes were beautiful, with my favourite (yes, there is a U in favourite for me, I'm Canadian :P) being The Jade Forest. I got my death knight and my preist to 90, geared up in some dungeons and then hopped into raid finder. I tried a little pvp (I don't think that I gave it too much of a fair go...but friends were more focused on raiding. :P) I admit I did have some good times. Got my cloud serpent mount, enjoyed the pet battles, farmed some phoenix hatchlings and sold those for 2k a piece ...but then it just stopped being fun. I think mostly because I picked up being guild master for Vicious Tactics after our old gm and most of the guild members left. Tried recruiting and whatnot but no luck on a low pop server, and we could have server transferred, but in all honestly I liked the low pop server feel for some things. Well that was until bliz made the cross realm zones a reality >.< Trying to find rare spawns or going afk in the middle of nowhere was gone.
Anyways I guess the point of this is...if it hasn't already been assumed because of my lack of posts, I am on yet another WoW hiatus. This is not to say that I'll never come back...because there is always a possibility. I plan on buying the next exp. and atleast getting to max level just to keep up with it. I'll still be posting on my youtube channel, and time permitting I want to try to blog on The Daily Phale more. If plans do actually go according to plan this time, I will be sure to post it here.

Resigned
Well if you haven't noticed my blog here has gotten a most needed face lift!
So moving right along... After 30ish Magisters Terrace runs, I finally got my Swift White Hawkstrider! The drop rate is supposedly 4%, which isn't terrible, I read about it taking people way longer...so I consider myself lucky :p
However as happy as I am about the hawkstrider, there is still farming to be done! I am after now Reins of the Blue Proto Drake from Utgarde Pinnacle, Reins of the Green Proto Drake from the Oracles egg, and Rivendare's Death Charger from Stratholme.
As a death knight, the Skadi run for the blue drake is rather easy, I haven't found that I drop below 90% as blood. And as for the Stratholme run, well I don't have to worry about what spec I go into there as :p
As far as I know, the Blue Drake drop rate is 1.6%, Green is 5% from the egg, and the Death Charger is 0.8%. So its really up to the RNG (random number generator) when I get these mounts.
In addition to this farming, I'm also working on getting my Tol Barad and Argent Tournament mounts aswell. I'm not quite sure why I didn't do the Argent Tournament stuff when it came out...but it's never too late :D Doing faction dailies isn't really the funnest thing, but it can be rewarding. I already have my Flameward Hippogryph from the Mount Hyjal dailies, I'm 1 daily away from getting the non combat pet Pebble from Thereazane dailies...so its just all a matter of pushing yourself to do them everyday >.<
Well that's where things are at with me! Remember the Sunwell!

Lostmaster?
Yeah the banner still hasn't changed >.< I'm looking into remembering to fix that!
Anyways, it looks like it about time to update!
Remember (or not) how I was grinding rep with the Skyguard? Well I got my Nether Ray, I also got my Talbuks, and my 100 pets achieve. It really has been a busy month of dailies, grinding rep, pvp, dungeons and leveling lol. I'm not exactly sure where I will focus most of my attention next. The Loremaster achievement I have glanced at once or twice, it would be so badass to have since literally no one on my server has it...but then again its like "ok, have to do around 3000 quests...how do I approach this?" Its almost like the achievement for completing 3000 quests, but they're different. 3000 quests alone awards you with the title the Seeker, and it also doesn't give you a tabard like the Loremaster does. Here is a quick little breakdown from WoWWiki:
" The Horde requires a grand total of 3,260 quests to obtain this achievement, separated by continent:
Anyways that has been floating around my brain...I haven't forgotten about my movies and whatnot, I have some stuff fraps'd but I'm not sure if it will ever get made into a youtube video :p Also parodies aren't out of the question, now that I have a bit better equipment for recording. I just find that you can't force a good parody out. The best ones I've done just spawned from me listening to a song and the chorus or a parody line just coming out. So as I can't really give an eta on that, I will say that its highly possible that inspiration may come. I am also open to suggestion, within reason...I don't think it would go over well to make a parody of a screamo song cause well...I can't exactly scream like that :p
Tis all for now, glory to the sin'dorei and all that.

- 550 in Eastern Kingdoms (quests that the Quest Log lists under names of zones (including instances) of Eastern Kingdoms)
- 685 in Kalimdor (quests listed under names of zones (including instances) of Kalimdor)
- 595 in Outland
- 90 in Hellfire Peninsula
- 68 in Terokkar Forest
- 86 in Blade's Edge Mountains
- 54 in Zangarmarsh
- 87 in Nagrand
- 90 in Shadowmoon Valley
- 120 in Netherstorm
- 875 in Northrend
- 150 in Borean Tundra
- 100 in Zul'Drak
- 105 in Howling Fjord
- 100 in Storm Peaks
- 130 in Dragonblight
- 75 in Grizzly Hills
- 75 in Sholazar Basin
- 140 in Icecrown
- 555 in Cataclysm
- 130 in Vashj'ir
- 115 in Mount Hyjal
- 110 in Deepholm
- 105 in Uldum
- 95 in Twilight Highlands"
(information taken from http://www.wowwiki.com/The_Loremaster)
I mean, I have gone after more bizarre stuff in the past, hell, I have 105 non combat pets :p But I'm kinda at a disadvantage and advantage for this achieve.
On one hand, I'm a death knight, and I have done next to no old world quests, cause I didn't need to level there. On the other hand, I'm a death knight :p and that could work in my favor because for all of old world I would get to start at the beginner quest hubs so its easy to know where I need to begin.

Netherwing Drake and MoP Stuff!
Well here I find myself on a lovely Saturday afternoon, and as much as I'd love to be rep farming I decided to take a little break to post here.
1st order of business...This banner will change, its due time :|
Secondly, I'm quite enjoying my revisit to WoW. I tried out the raid finder and did the Fall of Deathwing, twas pretty good. Also did heroic ZG...and I'm not sure how to feel about it, not really a fan of some of the old content being remade, guess I'm just not a big fan of change :p
On another note, I finally...after a good ol' rep grinding got my Netherwing Drake. You're given the choice to get 1 drake after you hit exalted with the Netherwing, and I chose the Veridian Netherwing Drake.
So since the farm for this mount is over, I've started questing for the Skyguard for a Nether Ray, the rep grind never truly ends lol.
Aside from that, I got my 25 tabards achieve as well, the Tabard of the Archiver is rather nifty. But its not as nifty as the last thing I'm going to mention!
I've been looking a little bit into MoP (Mists of Pandaria) and from what I've seen with people playing the beta, I love the warlock changes so far. At times I (personally) couldn't help but feel that they were one of the classes that blizzard sometimes overlooked. But in MoP they're getting a good refresh. From new spells, to revamped animation, new pets, revamped talents etc. So I'm liking what I'm seeing so far, but I will only be able to give a verdict when and if I play a lock in MoP and get to lvl 90.
Another thing that I'm happy about is the non combat pet battle system! :D I knew that there was a reason that I aimlessly collected them lol. But seriously, I like the fact that its something to do while you're waiting in que for a dungeon or something. I also like the fact that blizz wants to make it so that your pet collection isn't just on one character anymore. As much as I spoiled my DK with all the pets, I could finally be able to bust out any pet on any character and have 'em by my side in combat! :p

Scroll of Resurrection
My oh my its been a long time! I am pleased to announce that after almost a years break that I have returned to WoW! Its never felt so good to log on and collect more mindless achievements and pets :D
And of course playing alone is no fun...so I scrolled up some of my minions and now we're back to doing the same ol' stuff we were doing before we stopped playing :p
There are so many things that I want to try doing...I want a pvp set on my lock and a better pve set, I want to get my dk pvp geared, I want a resto pvp set on my druid and a pve resto set...Gah just so many things. And I can't forget about my pet collection, going for the 100 pets, I only need 5 more :D
So I'm not entirely sure if/when I would be doing any videos ...but it is a possibility, seeing as I'm done school for the summer I will no doubt have more free time. This semester had me packed for work :|
But I certainly do want to get back into posting and video making. The exploration got nerfed in cata imo, (flying everywhere doesn't make it nearly as rewarding) but if I find anything/do anything of remote interest I shall post it here. Also, (provided the time, and inspiration are right) more parodies could be a possibility.
This here was just a quick little post to say that I've been ressed :D

Throwing the WoW Towel In
The title says it all here. This is not to say that I will never come back, but Cataclysm wasn't what I was hoping for, and this next exp. doesn't look all to appealing either. So for now it is safe to say that I won't be in game now.
Things could change though, I could come back...and if I do I will be sure to write about it here!
Thank you for the funs times I had WoW! I shall miss thee!
For possibly the last time,

Update
Alas it has been a long time since I have been here indeed. After taking a tiny break from WoW, I have gotten back into it slowly by trying some new exploits. I have videos of a few of them and I will link them below this :P I have been occupying my time with League of Legends so far, I did try RIFT but it felt too much like WoW for my tastes.
I should be making more videos and they will be posted here, my second blog has taken off so I'm busy with that one as well...but I have not forgot about this one :D
(If the quality/aspect ratio are a little off I apologize, I;m still trying to find the best settings for YouTube videos on my new computer)
Until next time!

It's Been A Month D:
Oh my! It's been a month! D: Luckily I do not have much to report...I've just been getting my monies worth out of Cata. I have new videos out...but there's a few so I'll just shamelessly post my YouTube channel link instead of each video :P
http://www.youtube.com/user/MissPenguin14?feature=mhum
So for the most part I have been occupying my time with WoW, school work and another MMO that I signed up to try the beta. It's called RIFT, and its alright. From what I've played out of it I still say that I prefer WoW. I may buy it and give the retail version a try when it comes out. The rumored release date is March of this year. So that gives me a little more time to think about it. If I were to get it I would still play WoW, I haven't gotten my fill out of it yet :P
Now I have some homework that I should be getting to :P

Post Cataclysm
It has been a while! Almost a full year since I have started this blog :D
It's been out for a little while now, but I think that it is one of my favourites that I have done. The strangest things inspire me when I make a parody. And sometimes my friends inspire me.
Mana, Mana, Mana was done for my b/f and fellow raider Amorianth <3
Get the Raid Started for for my l33t pally healing friend ;)
And Orc n' Troll is for my race confused friend :P jk jk
I haven't gotten bitten by the inspiration bug recently...but I'm sure that it won't be that long until I release another Cyphale original :P
But until then,
-Cyphale
Anyways, Cataclysm has so far served me well. I chose to level up my nerfed-as-shit warlock first. I went demo, it was easy enough. I must say that I fully enjoyed each new area. I couldn't decide if I should quest in Hyjal or Vashj'ir, so I did both. I loved Hyjal for the lore and the backstory but my god Vashj'ir was amazing graphics wise.
Deepholm was interesting as well, kind of reminded me of Icecrown.
Uldum...cat people. Is all I can say :P
And Twilight Highlands, I didn't get to finish the area, but from what I did I loved the story.
I haven't gotten much video footage, my computer isn't liking the upped graphics of Cata so much. But I still insists on keeping my particle density maxed :P But I have got a new parody out!

Cataclysm Tomorrow!
Well this is it! Tomorrow marks the start of another chapter if World of Warcraft history. We have been talking about it and wondering about it for a little over a year now, and now the day has finally come. I'm both excited and a little bit sad, but that's because I'm a sucker for nostalgia :P
Wrath of the Lich King was the first expansion that I become more seriously involved in. But since I have downloaded WoW alpha, I wish more and more that I actually played during vanilla WoW but I digress...
The shattering brought upon many changes to the world that I knew and loved. I miss the Barrens, because everyone always complained about it, I miss how it is no more the peaceful place where the kodo's play and Chuck Norris jokes can be heard.
I'll miss the Ironforge Airfield, I've went there many times and it was one of the more simple exploits but I loved the mystery of flying to Ironforge on my Alliance death knight and seeing it wondering what exactly was there; and more importantly...how can I get there? They made this place into a low level questing area. The same day as The Shattering I went on my Alliance death knight to go see it. I exploited to get there, even though there was probably an actual way to get there. Blizzard fixed it up, but it doesn't look like its normal, glitchy self anymore.
Another place that I will miss will be the Isle of Quel'Thalas. To get there before 4.0.1 all you had to do was swim, and if you played a class with some sort of water walking then that made your job much faster. But now, there are invisible walls to conquer. And I have no idea why, Blizzard was fine with this since it has been there since The Burning Crusade has been out. Quel'Thalas had to be my favourite place that I have visited. It is also so mysterious, just left to its own business. It is mentioned in lore as the home of the High Elves before it was destroyed by the Lich King (I think that's how it goes). I wasn't expecting them to just block it off, maybe it will be until I install the actual expansion, but maybe not.
But until tomorrow, I will just enjoy the world...while it is still worgen and goblin free :P
